Gastehaus Sonnenstube in Langenargen

We had a very nice holiday in the guest house Sonnenstube. The location of the apartment is excellent, absolutely quiet and yet a bus stop can be reached in 3 minutes on foot. The lido with heated swimming pool is in the immediate vicinity. There we could go swimming every day for free with the Bodensee Card; with a view of Lake Constance. The apartment is bright, cozy and clean, with a large balcony and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Mrs. Kallina is a warm hostess, always helpful, since we don't have a car, she brought us to the train station. She gave us great tips and information for activities in the area. Despite a few rainy days, we were able to take the bus to the thermal baths in Meersburg or Überlingen without having to change. The bus also goes to Salem. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you for the great vacation.

I've been here several times and I've always loved it. Ms. Kallina is incredibly personable and helpful. The apartments are very cozy and you can sit in the little garden. You walk a bit into the village, but you will be rewarded with a wonderfully quiet location near the lake.

Since 2005 I have been going regularly at least once a year to the then newly opened barrier-free apartment 5 of the Sonnenstube guest house. I felt very comfortable there from the start. On the one hand, because the rooms are very well tailored to the needs of wheelchair users (ramp in front of the house, door widths sufficient, level access to the very beautiful terrace with garden, height-adjustable care bed, spacious bathroom with level shower, wheelchair-accessible worktop in the kitchen), on the other hand, because the Host family, especially Karin, treats all guests in a very pleasant way. She tries to make all of her guests' wishes come true. She is happy to give tips for the vacation time, is informed about what wheelchair users can do particularly well and provides guests with fresh regional fruit every day. The apartment is clean every time you arrive and if anything is defective or missing in the apartment, remedial action will be taken immediately. The apartment is very quiet and is very close to the lido. Almost all roads in Langenargen are easy to drive with the wheelchair, there are hardly any inclines. There are hardly any steps in front of shops and the jetty leads effortlessly onto the boats. The restaurants in the village are easy to use and the people are all very helpful if problems arise. Thank you Karin for your hard work over the years. I always like to come back to you.

Very friendly atmosphere. The apartment is cozy and bright, very clean and well maintained. There is everything you need and if something is missing, the hostess is happy to help. All in all, we felt very comfortable there and would love to come back!

Super nice apartment. We are not even guests of the apartment. In order to understand that, I would like to explain it. Our son and his family rented an apartment here for almost a week. Since they have a dog, it was not easy to get a holiday apartment with a pet. Not here 👍👍👍. You were warmly welcomed and got a very nice and clean apartment. Lake Constance is only a few minutes away. Now to us. We wanted to spend a few nice days at Lake Constance with our son, his wife and our grandchild. Since we have a camper, we wanted to park on a camper. Unfortunately there is no possibility to stand anywhere with the camper over the winter months. We searched everything and in our need came up with the idea to ask the landlord of the apartment if she could recommend something to us. She was immediately very helpful and made room for us so that we could stand with her in our motor home. Without expecting anything for it. The landlord is a very nice and friendly woman. As already mentioned, the apartment is very clean and well equipped. Definitely recommendable.

Dirt under the furniture (enough space to wipe is there), dust on / in the curtains, glass table in several places dangerously broken, color spots on the curtains, sofa only with blanket on it to use. Other guests at this time in the house told us exactly the same about their holiday apartments. Just run down and broken.
